Traffic Calming Plan

After much debate and much hard work by the SIPOA Board, there was a community-wide vote approving a traffic calming plan on Snell Isle, affecting primarily stretches of Monterey Boulevard and Almedo Way.

Monterey and Almedo Way Traffic Calming Plan

Besides the many new home construction projects taking place, you should also take notice of the markings painted on the road outlining the layout of the chicanes and medians the city plans to start construction on soon. The city recently completed the drainage portion of the project on the south end of Monterey. I am providing the below link which will provide complete details including the road markings that will be put in place to help provide navigation through the Chicanes. I encourage you to review as it will provide complete detail of the entire plan and help address any questions.

We will do our best to keep everyone updated with the changes on the enjoysnellisle.com website.
