Weekly Snell Isle Updates from SPPD


St. Petersburg Police Dept. Update - Oct. 14-20, 2019

Over the past week Snell Isle had the following:

Residential Burglary in the 1300 blk of Snell Ise Blvd NE. It occurred between Oct. 8th and Oct. 14th while the victim was out of town. The unknown suspect got into the garage and took property from the vehicle inside the garage. Unknown how the suspect got into the garage.

Attempted Vehicle Burglary in the 100 blk of Maron St NE. It occurred on Oct. 14th at 2 a.m. 2 suspects were seen by a witness who yelled at the suspects who fled on foot. The suspects did not get into the vehicle. 2 subjects where found that fit the description but the witness could not positively identify them. No arrest was made.

The Auto Theft that StatMap shows was a Directed Patrol done by me. There were no other reported property crimes. Donald J. Herring, SPPD

St. Petersburg Police Dept. Update - Oct. 7-14, 2019

Over the past 8 days Snell Isle had 1 Vehicle Burglary. It occurred in the 1300 blk of Snell Isle Blvd NE during the midnight hours of October 10th. The vehicle was unlocked and there are no suspects. There were no other reported crimes and Eden Isle had 2 calls for service with no reported crimes. Donald J. Herring, SPPD

St. Petersburg Police Dept Update - Sep 30 - Oct 6, 2019

Over the past week Snell Isle had an Auto Theft that occurred on September 30th at approx. 11:30 p.m. It occurred at the apartment complex on Eden Isle. The car was left unlocked with the keys under the seat. There are no suspects.

There was also a Residential Burglary in the 1200 block of Brightwaters Blvd NE. The suspect is unknown and made forced entry to the 2nd floor doors. This occurred on October 5th at 11:30 p.m. There were no other reported crimes. Donald J. Herring, SPPD
