New Medians on 34th Ave N

Communications Manager Bill Logan, St. Petersburg Water Resources

Medians coming to calm traffic on 34th Avenue N

Construction of two medians (with planters) along 34th Avenue N just to the east and just to the west of 3rd Street N will begin February 5. The work will take approximately 7-10 days to complete once all utilities are located. The construction schedule is subject to change based on weather and unforeseen circumstances.

Access to local homes and businesses will be maintained, however some minor disruptions are possible during the construction process. There will be a construction expert on site to answer any questions or concerns.

The staff and crews of the St. Petersburg Public Works Department – Stormwater, Pavement and Traffic Operations appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
