Thank you Volunteers - Coffee Pot Bayou Cleanup

Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who worked so very hard on the Coffee Pot Bayou cleanup. The results are awesome. We really, really appreciate all that you did.

To help us first with the prep work, the City provided three very skilled men and two machines to remove the big trees and vines from the easement area. They did a phenomenal job and the volume removed is impressive.

Thanks to our 50+ volunteers who did a super cleanup job. Lakewood, Osceola, Northshore School, Shorecrest, Old NE, Snell Isle, St Thomas Church, Coffee Pot Drive homeowners and the Boy Scouts. The volunteers from Scout troop 219 and the Shorecrest School Science Club were heroes. The college students from Eckerd did a great job in clearing the small debris from the just cleared area. Northshore School, the honor student from Seminole HS and some local residents all worked hard. Wanda got cleaned out twice and the dumpster was a godsend for lots of little stuff. Also, thanks to KPB who provided great support with tools and shirts and food cards from Chick-Fil-A. We had a great group of volunteers. That’s how the neighborhood comes together. Thank you.
