St. Petersburg Police Dept. Update - Jan. 6, 2020

Over the past week Snell Isle had the following property crimes:

Residential Burglary/Auto Theft in the 100 blk Ramon Way NE. It occurred on January 1st at 6:35 p.m. The garage door was left raised and the vehicle was left unlocked with the key fob inside the vehicle. The victim heard a noise and looked outside to see his car driving away. The suspect damaged the vehicle exiting the garage and then stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Ramon Way NE/Appian Way NE and got out of the vehicle and jumped into another vehicle waiting at that intersection. Suspect has not been identified yet.

Petit Theft in the 1200 blk of Monterey Blvd NE. It occurred on January 2nd between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. A pair of earrings were missing and the cleaning crew is the suspect.

There were no other reported property crimes and nothing reported in the 300 block of Belleair Drive NE. Daniel J. Herring, SPPD
